“Good work is our salvation and our joy.” — Wendell Berry, The Unsettling of america

As a kid, I wanted to be a veterinarian until I learned that putting animals to sleep was part of the job. Helping dogs and cats feel better seemed fun, but the idea of euthanizing either felt like the opposite. By the time I was in high school, I’d set my sights on becoming a therapist. It was a natural progression.
It was during college, however, that I discovered it was actually me who needed to be in therapy, not the other way around. An honest mistake.
After more than a few twists and turns, some formal training, and a lot of trial and error, I was able to take what I knew about human behavior and apply it to marketing and branding. It all made sense.
As it turns out, marketing and branding are just different words for one of my favorite things: storytelling.
Each of us has a story to tell, and chances are, that story is our superpower—but only if we figure out what it is and how to tell it well.
Companies have a story too, and the best part of my job is helping business owners and organizations shape that story and share it with more people.
These days, it can be hard to stand out in a crowd of AI-generated emails and images, but we can help. More than ever, your customers and clients are eager for something real. Let’s give it to them.
